"Alms for the obvious candidate." AI-generated clones of Zelenskyy begging for money have taken over thousands of billboards across Hungary.
According to the Financial Times, ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for April 12, government-backed advertisement billboards generated by artificial intelligence have been put up on the streets of Hungary.
They depict a slyly smiling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, holding out his hand in anticipation of another cash tranche, as well as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Manfred Weber, the leader of the European People's Party, frowning as they demand that funds be allocated to the Ukrainian leader.
The caption on the billboard reads: "Let's tell Brussels [Europe's political center]: we won't pay [for Ukraine]!"
